Geogrid construction process

Geogrid construction process: testing, clearing the lower bearing layer → artificial laying geogrid → lap, banding, fixing → paving the upper subgrade soil → roller compaction → testing. The geogrid is laid on the flat lower bearing layer according to the width of the design requirements. The fillers on the upper and lower layers do not have any damage to the geogrid. When laying the geogrid, the direction of high strength is perpendicular to the direction of the embankment axis. Geogrid laid horizontally. Tighten and stretch when laying to avoid wrinkles, twists, or pits. The geogrid is lapped in the longitudinal direction and the lap width is not less than 30cm. After paving the geogrid, the upper layer filler is artificially laid to complete the rolling in time to avoid long-term exposure. Then use mechanical transport, leveling, and roller compaction. The mechanical paving and rolling are carried out from both sides to the middle. The rolling is performed from both sides to the middle, and the degree of compaction is maintained to the specification.
